Improvements to the request processing center

Details as to scheduled excavation start and end dates

On September 4th, a long-requested modification will be in effect in our locate request processing system, and will in itself facilitate and improve your operations while reducing your administrative workload. This modification requires that the scheduled excavation start and end dates be written with great accuracy. Writing this information correctly will help avoid many inconveniences such as:

• An increase in email management due to the short validation period of locate requests;
• The risk of performing excavation work while the validation period of the locate request is expired;
• Having to ask repetitively a large number of revalidation when excavation work is performed over a very long period.

It should be noted that the period between the excavation start date and its scheduled end date written on your request represents the period in which your request is in effect, thus valid for a maximum of 6 months.

Writing irrelevant dates means that everyone involved in the process, Info-Excavation employees and members of underground infrastructures as well, won’t be able to offer the same level of service that you have come to expect.

Keep an eye on your email inbox on August 31st. You will learn more on the benefits this modification will have on your operations.
