The CSEM promotes and encourages the burial of cabled networkson the Montreal territory by associating with the City of Montreal and with numerous energy and telecommunications companies and providers. The CSEM coordinates the efforts of all involved parties to offer a reliable, secure and durable underground and aboveground network. In all, since its inception the CSEM has developed an underground conduit network that covers over 770 kilometers of streets with over 23,5 million meters of cable.
Enbridge Gaz Québec (previously Gazifère) is a private corporation employing 92 people, and a subsidiary of Enbridge Inc. Established in the Outaouais region in 1959, Enbridge Gaz Québec is one of two distributors of natural gas in Quebec. Serving more than 40,400 residential, commercial, institutional and industrial customers, the company owns and operates a 931 km gas supply system.

Trans-Northern Pipelines Inc. (TNPI) operates pipelines regulated by the Canada Energy Regulator (CER) to safely transport the refined petroleum products (gasoline, diesel, aviation, and heating fuel) used by Canadian businesses and consumers every day. These pipelines connect refineries in Nanticoke, Ont., and Montreal to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), with lateral pipelines to Ottawa as well as to Pearson International Airport and Pierre-Elliot Trudeau International Airport. We are committed to operating in a safe and environmentally responsible manner to protect the public, the environment, and the pipelines.
