Jean-Guy Côté takes office as Info-Excavation’s new President and CEO
The Board of Directors at Info-Excavation, a non-profit organization, is pleased to announce that Mr. Jean-Guy Côté will take office today as President and Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Mr. Denis Courchesne, who is retiring on January 31, 2023.
Holder of an MBA from HEC Montréal, a master’s degree from the University of Montréal, a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science at McGill as well as a diploma in composition at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, Mr. Côté has been active in a variety of roles related to economic development for almost 20 years.
His career began as an adviser for various ministerial offices under the Québec government and then as Assistant Director. He also served as Strategy and Economic Affairs Director of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec.
Mr. Côté held the position of Associate Director of the Institut du Québec after it was founded by the Conference Board of Canada and HEC Montréal. He has contributed to more than 40 publications.
In the midst of the pandemic and given his knowledge of the retail environment and his management skills, he was appointed Director General of the Québec Retail Council. Under his leadership, the CQCD consolidated its position as a partner of choice and industry representative.

His mandate as President and CEO of Info-Excavation is to maintain the quality of services and the search for innovations that make the organization an industry leader in North America.
