Locate requests
These requests are made when a location response is needed within 3 business days.
Engineering requests
These requests are made when the client doesn’t plan to carry out the excavation work within 30 days of the request, and only wants engineering plans.
Revalidation requests
These requests are made when the client’s “locate request” has expired (after 30 days) and the client wants make a request for the same location.
Re-marking requests
These requests are made when the client wants to have the site remarked because the marks on the ground have disappeared or the posts and flags have been removed.
Cancellation requests
These requests are made when:
• A client wants to cancel a request.
• A work site error has occurred.
• The agent made an error that affects the work site.
Correction requests
These requests are made when there is an error in the client’s personal file or changes must be made to the additional dig information or the start work date. However, if the precise location of the excavation work changes (backstreet, street, side street, other side, etc.), the request will be canceled and a new one will be created.
