TQM Pipeline was founded in 1980 and has operated a gas transmission system since 1982, from Saint-Lazare, West of Montréal, where it is connected to the TransCanada PipeLines system, to Saint-Nicolas, on the South Shore of the St. Lawrence River near Québec City. In December 1998, TQM Pipeline completed the pipeline which extends its system from Lachenaie, East of Montréal, to East Hereford on the New Hampshire border to be connected to Portland Natural Gas Transmission System. TQM Pipeline‘s right-of-way covers 572 km and its system has 31 delivery points and two compressor stations.
